the room was very clean on arrival. the location proved convenient with easy access to many sights. the breakfast offered good variety and was available until late. i also appreciated the walk in shower that featured strong water pressure.
the artificial air freshener used in the entrance hall was strong. it made walking through the area a bit unpleasant because of its overpowering scent. the fragrance lingered too much.

The hotel is near many galleries. Atocha station is also very close for travel to other cities. The bed was super comfortable. The rooms are quiet.

I found the breakfast service to be rather inflexible. i arrived 15 minutes before the stated closing time, but several options were already unavailable. the staff seemed unwilling to replenish them, disappointing. additionally, the soundproofing in my room was inadequate. I could clearly hear noise from the street and adjacent rooms, impacting my ability to rest properly.

The reception operates around the clock, very useful. The room had a safe. This provided added security for valuables. I also found coffee facilities in the room, very practical. The bathroom included generously sized, thick towels, I really liked them.
The air conditioning did not function as expected. The room felt stuffy. Opening the window introduced significant street noise.

The room lacked proper soundproofing, so I heard conversations and noise from adjacent rooms. The maintenance also needs improvement. There were visible cracks in the bathroom tiles and the shower temperature fluctuated unexpectedly. The front desk staff lacked in providing clear answers.
